BBQ Sweet Chilli Chicken Drumsticks
SERVES: 6 • TOTAL TIME: 30 MINUTES + 1 HOUR MARINATING
Ingredients:
1 tbsp honey
5 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
3 tbsp soy sauce (or gluten–free soy sauce)
12 chicken drumsticks
Chilli, sliced
Continental parsley leaves
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix together the honey, sweet chilli sauce and soy sauce. Pour a small amount into a container to use for basting.
Place the chicken drumsticks into the bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Lightly oil the barbecue grill, place drumsticks on the grill and cook for 10–12 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Baste frequently with the reserve sauce during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
Place on serving dish and garnish with chilli and parsley leaves.
Serve with a leafy green salad or a crunchy coleslaw.
