Bacon Salt
MAKES: 1 JAR • TOTAL TIME: 35 MINUTES
Ingredients:
350 g bacon
1 cup sea salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 190ºC.
Line a baking tray with baking paper and then place a wire rack on top.
Arrange slices of bacon on the rack and cook in the oven for 30 minutes or until very crisp. Drain on paper towel and let cool completely.
Chop bacon finely or use a food processor to blitz it. Add salt and pepper and mix well to combine.
Pack into a jar and keep refrigerated.
